Outr is a community app that helps you discover grassroots events and connect with people in your local area.​ It's like a digital version of an old school bulleting board - centring plans and people.
 

We built Outr because back in 2024, the UK was losing a venue every two weeks, and by 2025, 82% of adults reported feeling lonely, most without voicing it, underscoring how desperately cities need spaces for connection.
 

Outr tackles these issues on two fronts. First, by spotlighting the cultural happenings that fall under the radar on big-ticketing sites. Second, through our Connections feature, which connects users in their local area based on shared interests.

Outr’s discovery feed aggregates community events including small gigs, workshops, talks, creative gatherings, supper clubs and more. After a short interests quiz, users receive personalised recommendations, can save events, buy tickets in-app, and browse a curated list of potential connections.

For organisers, Outr provides intuitive tools to list events, promote gatherings and reach audiences who genuinely want to participate in local culture.
