© [2025] Outr. All rights reserved.

Outr exists to help revitalise community and repopularise third spaces. We’re building a space for local culture,
eal community, and genuine connection. These guidelines protect that. If you use Outr as a General User or a Host,
you agree to follow them. If you wouldn’t say it in a room full of real people, don’t say it here.

If you wouldn’t want it done to you, don’t do it here. We reserve the right to remove content, reject events, restrict features,
or suspend accounts that do not meet these standards.

1. Who Can Use Outr

You must be 18 or over to use Outr.
We may request ID verification if we believe an account is underage.

One person, one account.

For Everyone on Outr

These rules apply to both General Users and Hosts.

Respect and Conduct

Outr has zero tolerance for:

  • Hate speech or discriminatory language

  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or abuse

  • Threats, stalking, or coercive behaviour

  • Sexual harassment or unwanted advances

  • Non-consensual sexual content or nudity

  • Content promoting violence, self-harm, or exploitation

  • Scams, fraud, or manipulative behaviour

Everyone deserves to feel safe here.

If you target individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender identity, sexuality, age, or health status, your account may be permanently removed.

Authenticity

Outr is built on trust.

  • No impersonation

  • No fake profiles

  • No misleading information

  • No catfishing

Be yourself. That’s the whole point.

Spam and Commercial Misuse

Outr is not a marketplace.

Unsolicited selling, spam, automated engagement, or using the platform purely for lead generation is not allowed.

Hosts may promote their listed events. Anything beyond that may be removed.

Profile & Photo Guidelines (General Users)

Your profile is how people decide whether to connect with you. Keep it real.

Profile Photos

You must upload at least one clear photo that is a genuine and current representation of you.

Not allowed:

  • Group photos where it’s unclear who you are

  • Heavily filtered or distorted images

  • Photos of celebrities, memes, landscapes, pets only

  • AI-generated or altered images that misrepresent you

We reserve the right to temporarily block or restrict profiles that do not meet these standards until updated.

Connection Guidelines

Outr is not a dating app.

This is a platform to build friendships, attend events, and connect around shared interests.

Not appropriate:

  • Explicit sexual messages

  • Pressuring someone to meet privately

  • Repeated unwanted contact

  • Treating connections as dating prospects

If someone says no, disengage.
If someone doesn’t reply, move on.

Persistent inappropriate behaviour will result in suspension.

Host Guidelines

Outr supports local organisers, creative producers, and grassroots culture.

It is not:

  • A club night listing platform

  • A ticket dumping ground

  • A dating event app

There are other platforms for that.

We focus on community-led events, culture, workshops, talks, skill-sharing, wellness, creative gatherings, and meaningful social spaces.

Event Approval

All events are subject to review.

We reserve the right to:

  • Reject events that do not align with Outr’s purpose

  • Request edits before approval

  • Remove events that violate our standards

Events must not include:

  • Hate speech or discriminatory messaging

  • Harmful, extremist, or exploitative content

  • Misleading information

  • Explicit sexual content

  • Illegal activity

If your event does not meet our guidelines, it may be rejected until updated.

Community First

Outr prioritises:

  • Local culture

  • Grassroots organisers

  • Independent creatives

  • Community-led spaces

Large-scale commercial club promotions, mass nightlife listings, or purely transactional events may not be approved.

We are building depth, not volume.

Safety & Reporting

User safety is a shared responsibility.

If you see behaviour or content that violates these guidelines, report it through the app or email support.

Provide as much detail as possible so we can act quickly.

We review every report.

Enforcement

If an account or event violates our guidelines, we may take action including:

  • Content removal

  • Event rejection

  • Warning

  • Feature restriction

  • Temporary suspension

  • Permanent removal

We may act without prior notice in serious cases.

If you believe a decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting support.

Final Word

Outr is built for people who want more than scrolling.

It’s for people who want to show up.
Meet properly.
Build something real.

Help us keep it that way.
